DNA is a high performance technology exclusive to Montolit products, based on the micrometric, variable, and three-dimensionally controlled network distribution of diamond grains within the cutting portion of the tools.

Depending on the specific design requirements and the characteristics of the materials being processed (ceramic, marble, granite, etc.), individual diamond grains can be precisely positioned to optimize performance. By applying DNA technology, the diamond segments and all sintered cutting portions of the tool contain the same predefined quantity of diamond grains, positioned exactly where intended. The result is a product specifically engineered to deliver optimal performance in terms of both cutting efficiency and speed.

DNA is a continuously evolving technology. Montolit products have now reached their third generation, while the fourth generation is already at an advanced stage of development.
