MASTERPIUMA P5 “ITALICA” is the new professional manual tile cutter, representing the highest technical and stylistic evolution of one of the manual tile cutters most appreciated by professionals worldwide. Always synonymous with Made in Italy quality and innovation, the Masterpiuma line is a benchmark for professional tile installation.
To celebrate 80 years of history, with the “Italica” version Montolit has practically redesigned the machine from scratch, adding a series of concrete features designed to further improve the on-site user experience.
- New metallic blue & racing red colour scheme, inspired by the historic Montolit logo
- More solid and lighter monolithic base structure, produced in a single mould, giving greater structural rigidity, superior stability during cutting and better performance on the most difficult materials.
- New folding 13 cm front support/square for improved support, even during repetitive cuts
- Integrated millimetre-marked Baseboard (back square) for perfect control of cutting widths.
- ATLAS units integrated into the machine structure, acting as spring-loaded plates when in place and as external spring-loaded supports for large tiles/slabs when extended.
- The new sliding incision handle is equipped with bearings on 3 axes (upper, lower and lateral), providing extremely smooth movement. The bearings dynamically adapt to scoring and breaking movements and to different tile thicknesses. The shape of the incision handle, equipped with three force indicators for greater control of breaking force, offers improved support for breaking and greater scoring power
- Breaker foot in scratch-resistant and stain-resistant technopolymer.
- The new 18 mm tungsten carbide scoring wheel with titanium coating now has an integrated bearing that improves smoothness and reduces friction, even on the hardest materials.
- Integrated lubricator.
- Integrated movable laser guide that can be fitted to and easily slid along the bar. It is compatible with all MasterPiuma models (including previous versions) and features a rechargeable lithium battery with USB-C port. The laser line guide also has a mechanical system for locating the scoring line should the battery run down, and switches off automatically after three minutes of inactivity.
- The base is fitted with rubber wheels to make it easier to move and transport the machine on site.
